In that past couple of months there’s been a really big change in the fitness industry. More and more people are changing the way they do their cardio routines. The long run on the treadmill just doesn’t cut it anymore. It’s long and boring.
And plus when you have only an hour or less to hit the gym, you want to use your time wisely and get the most “bang for your buck”.

To see more results and to use your time wisely try “High Intensity Interval Training” which is a type of training that is taking over the long moderate paced runs.
First of all H.I.I.T is basically giving your maximum effort for a short amount of time – we’re talking like 15-20 seconds. Now it might not seem like a long time but if you’re sprinting your heart out for 20 seconds, let me tell you you’re gonna be in for a big surprise.
There are many ways in which you can implement H.I.I.T. For example, running up a hill and then walking back down could count as one rep, imagine doing that ten times! The pounds would just melt off of you!
Also if you like jogging outdoors what you can do is jog to a telephone pole and then sprint to the next one, the intervals of jogging and sprinting will get your heart rate up in no time.
So the next time you hop on the treadmill or jog outside don’t be afraid to run your hardest for a short period of time, try it out and let me know how it goes for you.
And here’s a bonus tip: Make sure you breathe!
