  • Body Weight Standards For Women

Posted in Health & Wellness, Women's Fitness on June 10th, 2009 by Marci Lall | View Comments

What’s an ideal weight for my height?

This is a popular question that pops up when I do my assessment with new clients.

It’s a little bit different than your basic BMI.  Instead of giving you a number it gives you a range of weights that are healthy for your specific body.

This is a great tool to use when you’re trying to figure out how much weight you should lose.  Instead of just picking a number out from the air you can see what is recommended for your height and create your goals accordingly.  It’s also a fool-proof way to keep your goals realistic and attainable.

When using the chart below make sure you’re honest with yourself.  Don’t say you have a small frame when you really have the opposite.
